Question 04 of 7

How do you reach happiness?

Every human being chases happiness. But almost no one learns how it actually works: which needs have to be met, how to meet them, and why some choices feel good now but charge you pain later.

The Game's answer

Happiness is the feedback that your needs are being met in a healthy way. In The Soul Game, those needs show up as 7 frequencies: safety, pleasure, power, connection, expression, knowledge and meaning.

The framework

The need isn't the problem. How you meet it is.

You don't need to erase your needs. You need to learn to meet them in a way that's good for you, good for others, good in the short run and good in the long run.

Step 01

Need

Something essential asks for attention: safety, pleasure, power, connection, expression, knowledge or meaning.

Step 02

Form

You try to meet that need through a positive path or a negative one.

Step 03

Result

The positive path builds sustainable happiness. The negative one buys a moment of relief and a future cost.

The 7 needs

The chakras as a practical map of happiness

Each frequency stands for a human need. When it's met in a healthy way, you feel well-being. When it's missing, or when it's met in a negative way, suffering shows up.

Positive and negative forms

Every need can build your life or wreck it.

Safety can become stability or control. Pleasure can become creativity or addiction. Power can become leadership or domination. Happiness depends less on the need itself and more on how you try to meet it.

The big insight

Happiness doesn't come from denying fear, desire, ambition, love, your voice, your mind or the search for meaning. It comes from turning each need into a positive form of movement.

The happiness gauge

The same desire can become growth or a crutch.

The Soul Game doesn't just ask what you want. It asks how you're trying to meet what you want.

Positive form

Meets the need without wrecking other areas of life. Creates peace, joy, satisfaction and sustainable growth.

Negative form

Gives fast relief, but breeds dependency, accumulated cost, conflict, emptiness or a repeat of the same cycle.

How The Soul Game helps

Learn to meet your needs in a healthy way.

Happiness doesn't depend on erasing every difficulty in life. It depends on learning to recognize your needs, understand how you're trying to meet them and choose paths that create growth instead of suffering.

In The Soul Game, you'll learn to play better.

You'll learn to name your needs, see how they're being met today and find healthier ways to satisfy them.

  • Identify which needs are most present in any given moment.
  • Understand how those needs are being met today.
  • Recognize when a negative form is charging a future cost.
  • Find positive strategies that create real movement.
  • Build happiness without giving up growth, responsibility and balance.
  • Turn safety, pleasure, power, connection, expression, knowledge and purpose into healthy paths.
The need isn't the problem. The problem is how we try to satisfy it.
